Friends of Lafourche Parish Animal Shelter is an organization founded by pet activists and volunteers who are committed to helping homeless dogs and cats find homes. Currently, hundreds of animals are euthanized on a daily basis as a result of overcrowding. If your family has its heart set on a specific kind of pet, we encourage you to check local shelters and adoption agencies for a match before you purchase.
